Archaeological note about an arrowhead, possiblly collected from John Campbell, An Durran, Lochaweside [Durran, Loch Obha/Loch Awe, Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire], that while cutting peats that year [1894] an arrowhead was found under four feet of moss.

The marjority of the notebook relates to material collected in Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire but there are a number of loose leaves at the end which contain an account of a journey from Uibhist/Uist through An t-Eilean Sgitheanach/Isle of Skye, during which time his wife, Mary is in Edinburgh and is pregnant.
